The GNO Consortium hosts a number of mailing lists. Many of these are private, but some are public. This page contains generic information about subscribing, unsubscribing, and getting help with the mailing list software.

This site uses Majordomo-2 for its list software. Consequently, you can either control your subscriptions via a web interface, or the historical email interface. For private lists, you need to subscribe using the email interface.

These instructions are generic for all lists. Some hosted mailing lists have additional information specific to that list. See the table below for details.

One of the more commonly used customizations (via either of the web or email interfaces) is to set up account aliases. These should not be confused with regular email aliases that are used for mail forwarding, but rather are used to make it easier to post from multiple accounts owned by the same person. See the online help or web interface information for more details.
