NAME

       intro - introduction to games

DESCRIPTION

       This chapter describes games.  Traditionally, these have been kept sep‐
       arate from user programs.  GNO follows this convention.

       Games are normally kept in the directory /usr/games.   Those  that  re‐
       quire  configuration  files  should  have such files in /usr/games/lib.
       The directories /usr/lib and /usr/local/lib have also been used on  oc‐
       casion, but this is discouraged.

       The  manual  page syntax of this chapter conforms to that of Chapter 1,
       Commands and Applications.

       Most games described in this chapter will be text-oriented.
